Assisting in the personal care of the service users.
Assisting the individual towards their own personal development, and working towards their own personal care plan goals (PCP).
Helping to ensure the upkeep of the service user’s home, as well as providing a safe and relaxing environment.
Accompanying the service users on social outings.

Childline Facilitator/Mentor February 2015-Present

Providing children and young people a non-judgmental safe space to talk about their thoughts and feelings, whilst offering them help and support if needed.
Assisting in training in volunteer trainees in shadowing and supervision sessions.
As a mentor, I have the duty and responsibility to be a support network to fellow volunteers if they need support, as well as filling out a quality report at the end of every shift.
